Our Story

The Robert Mugabe International Airport Cargo Village (RMICV)is a visionary Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) established through the strategic collaboration of Transvaal Africa (Private) Limited and the Airports Company of Zimbabwe (ACZ). This initiative marks a significant milestone in the transformation of Zimbabwe into a competitive regional logistics and trade hub. Located adjacent to the Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport, on over 110 hectares of prime real estate (Stand 5596, Arlington Estate), RMICV is set to become the nucleus of Zimbabwe’s air cargo and logistics ecosystem. The development integrates critical logistics infrastructure, air freight services, warehousing, commercial space, and trade facilitation services designed to meet international standards. By aligning national infrastructure goals with commercial ambitions, this SPV is set to boost export-led growth, facilitate seamless cargo movement, create employment, attract FDI, and increase Zimbabwe’s competitiveness within the SADC and COMESA regions.
